Who is Medmusa
Daniela Baldinotti, known as Medmusa, is an Italian performer, model, and designer based in Milan. On stage she brings over 10 years of technique and aesthetic research, blending different disciplines: from classic burlesque to neo-burlesque, from snake dance to fire performance on large stages and effects suited to smaller venues.
Off stage she designs and creates her own costumes, develops 3D patterns and models thanks to her background as a CGI artist, and works with materials and techniques that combine craftsmanship and digital technology. Everything she does, whether a show, a shoot, or a costume, carries the same signature: obsessive attention to detail, dark theatrical aesthetics, no approximation.
For her, design and performance are the same thing: different faces of a creative impulse that never switches off.
